Nissin Shurui Sudachi Shochu — Bright, Citrus, and Easy to Drink
Some drinks are meant to be complex. This isn't one of them.
This is clean, citrusy, and made to be crushed. We just brought in Nissin Shurui Sudachi Shochu at Juraku.
What is Sudachi Shochu?
This is a shochu-based drink infused with sudachi, a small Japanese citrus from Tokushima. Sudachi is sharper and more aromatic than lemon or lime, with a distinct freshness that hits immediately but doesn't linger too heavy.
Nissin Shurui takes that citrus and blends it into a light, approachable shochu base, lower ABV than whisky, smooth clean finish, bright citrus up front.
Flavor Profile
Aroma: Fresh citrus peel, light floral notes
Taste: Crisp, slightly tart, clean sweetness
Finish: Refreshing, dry, and very easy to keep drinking
How to Drink It
This is where it shines: soda highball, on the rocks, or lightly diluted with water. Cold is key, the colder it is, the better it hits.
Pair It With
Karaage, yakitori, fries, anything salty or fried. The citrus cuts through everything and resets your palate.
