August at Juraku: Matcha Sake Bombs, Slushies, and a Dangerous New Shot

July was a good one, a fun popup collaboration and a Tanabata celebration that filled the place with guests in yukata. Thank you to everyone who came through. Here's what's coming up in August.

A Dangerous New Shot

Say hello to XXX FW, a new shot built around Barrow's Intense Ginger. It's a shot with some serious attitude. It's delicious. It's dangerous.

The Matcha Sake Bomb, Now With a Chant

The Matcha Sake Bomb just got an upgrade, including its own chant: "Matcha, Moeru, Kimi to, Inochi no BOOOOOOMB!" Here's how it works: hold a beer in one hand and a sake shot above it, chant together, then drop the shot into the beer and drink.

TEN TEN Digital Gallery

From August 11–16, we're hosting a TEN TEN Digital Gallery, showing a selection of award-winning artwork. Submissions closed August 10, with winners announced on August 16.

Staying Cool

Beat the heat with yuzu slushies and matcha cocktails, available during happy hour from 3–6 pm. We're also handing out free fans if you need a little extra relief from the summer heat.
