What is Tanabata?
Tanabata (δΈε€), also known as the Star Festival, is a Japanese tradition that honors the story of Orihime and Hikoboshi. These two star-crossed lovers are separated by the Milky Way and allowed to meet only once a year, on the night of July 7.
